Product description
With its 307.2 PPM peat smoke content, the Octomore 15.3 joins Bruichladdich's renowned Octomore series, which is known for extremely heavily peated Single Malts. The 15.3. is the second most smoky whisky in the series after the Masterclass. The bottling is distilled from 100% Islay barley, which comes from Octomore Farm just 2 miles away. The origin gives the 15.3 an impressive complexity and a powerful character. The slow distillation, the absence of chill-filtration and the absence of colouring bring out the influences of the island's sea breeze and sweet barley malt. The aromas of 15.3 are characterised by smoke, ripe fruit and ever-changing facets of flavour.

Kommentar: sorry, aber sind die Bewertungen Euer Ernst ? Noch nie so eine Enttäuschung im Glas gehabt für diesen Preis !!! Jeder PC syc, pac, Uigeadail, L10cs schlägt den um Längen ! Auch der 15.1 ! Aber der 15.3 ist nur eins : einfach langweilig !!!! Wirklich reiner PR Hype ! Von den 306 ppm merkt man nichts, Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist echt mangelhaft !
