Product description
The OFTD Overproof Rum is a creation of rums from Jamaica, Guyana and Barbado. The rums consist of molasses and were distilled on Twin Column and Pot Stills before being bottled with a high alcohol content after blending - and as usual for an Overproof Rum. O.F.T.D. officially stands for Old Fashioned Traditional Dark. However, the master blenders and tasters involved also used the abbreviation as an exclamation during tasting and are probably the only ones who know the true meaning of this abbreviation.
