The Redbreast Pot Still Whiskey is produced at the Midleton distillery on the south coast of Ireland. For the 12-year-old bottling, the Irish whiskey was matured in a combination of bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry casks.

    Nase: Reife Früchte (Apfel, Birne, Aprikose), würzige Eiche, cremige Vanille, Muskatnuss, leichter Ölgehalt, Hauch Sherry.

    Geschmack: Vollmundig, ölig. malzige Süße, rote Beeren, getrocknete Früchte, Ingwer, Zimt, nussige Noten, deutlicher Sherryeinfluss.

    Abgang: Mittellang, wärmend. Würzig-süß, Eichenholz, Malz, subtile Trockenheit, Anklänge von getrockneten Früchten.

    Balance: Exzellent. Harmonische Integration von Frucht, Würze, Süße und Eichenholz. Sehr gut abgerundet.

    Ein zugänglicher, aber tiefgründiger Whisky - sehr guter irischer Whisky

    Kommentar: Für mich ein Spitzenwhisk(e)y aus Irland. Etwas für den fortgeschrittenen Kenner. PLV super ! Nicht zögern, kaufen.
