Product description
The Zacapa Editión Negra is distilled from a base of sugar cane juice and then matured in various barrels. Bourbon barrels, Oloroso sherry casks and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks are used. The special feature? This bottling matures twice in burnt-out bourbon barrels, which give the rum special aromas. The entire maturation process takes place in the solera method and thus younger rums are combined with older ones. The age range of the rums contained in the bottle is from 6 to 24 years.
