Product description
Only barley and water from the North Frisian island were used for the Sylt Single Malt Sild Crannog. The whisky is distilled at Lantenhammer and matured in small wooden barrels on the ship's cutter 'Great Palucca' in the harbour of List on Sylt. It is the only whisky in the world that is stored and matured on a ship.

The Lantenhammer distillery was founded in Hausham in 1928 by Amalie and Josef Lantenhammer as a distillery for fine spirits and fruit liqueurs. In 1999, the first Bavarian single malt whisky was distilled. This was followed in 2012 by the distillery's own vodka, gin and rum. read more
