The Speyburn Rum Cask is a high-quality single malt Scotch whisky from the renowned Speyburn Distillery in the Speyside region of Scotland. After classic maturation in oak casks, this whisky is given an additional finish in selected rum casks, which gives it its special character. This refinement creates a harmonious combination of traditional Speyside style and exotic cask notes. The overall flavour profile of the Speyburn Rum Cask is fruity and smooth with a pleasant sweetness that is accompanied by subtle hints of caramel.     Kommentar: Ein Whisky mit dem ich warm werden musste. Zunächst fand ich ihn etwas flach und eher langweilig. Mit der Zeit hat er mir aber immer besser geschmeckt. Die Süße überwiegt hier. Aber dennoch lassen sich auch fruchtige Noten wie Banane entdecken.
