Product description
Teeling Blackpitts is named after the district of Dublin where the city's malt houses used to be located. This is because, unlike other Teeling whiskeys, the Single Malt is made from malt dried over peat smoke. The typical Irish triple distillation reduces its medicinal notes and emphasises its smoky character. The smoky Teeling is matured in Bourbon and Sauternes wine casks.

    Kommentar: Hellbraun im Glas, in der Nase weich, cremig, leicht blumig und zart rauchig mit einem Hauch süßer Ananas. Am Gaumen dann kräftiger, richtig leckerer Rauch, klar Lagerfeuer, dazu Eiche und wieder cremig, macht richtig Lust auf den nächsten Schluck. Abgang sehr lang, rauchig, würzig und minimal salzig.

    Geschmack ist leicht rauchig aber nur ein ganz bisschen dazu kommt eiche und eine gut eingebundene süsse, ich würde sagen richtung birne pflaume

    Abgang: Geschmack verblasst recht schnell also eher kurz.
