Product description
The New Zealand whisky is made from regional ingredients. Thomson Whisky originally started as an independent bottler and launched its own craft distillery in 2014, which is located on the grounds of the Hallertau Brewery in Riverhead. Malt from premium barley from the South Island of Canterbury serves as the basis for the Single Malt. For the South Island Peat, the barley malt is kilned over South Island peat, resulting in an earthy smokiness with iodine and sweet vanilla. The creation is matured in custom Bourbon casks.
