Tyrconnell means 'Land of the O Donnells' in Gaelic. The name Tyrconnell became famous through the successful racehorse. Since 2017, the Single Malt has been bottled at a stronger 43% vol.

Founded as late as 1987, for many years Cooley was the only independent Irish distillery of its time. Since 2011 the well-known labels such as Kilbeggan, Tyrconnell, Locke's or Connemara have belonged to Beam (now Beam Suntory).

Aroma: vanilla, honey, pineapple
Taste: soft and sweet with some limited tropical fruits. but it is a young spirit with limited finish and limited depth of flavour. difficult to recommend, but of course the price is good
Finish: too short, the tropical fruits disappear and are difficult to recall.
Comment: young, slightly hot, better with ice. better than other products in the same range.
