Product description
Vital Spark is a small batch bottling from Meadowside, which was created by Donald and Andy Hart. It is an 11-year-old, heavily smoky Islay Single Malt that has been matured in Caribbean rum casks. Vital Spark was the name of a coastal ship that travelled on the River Clyde and transported whisky casks and coal in the 1930s. The whisky was bottled at 55.8% vol. at cask strength.

Aroma: süße Fruchtigkeit gepaart mit gutem Lagerfeuerrauch

Geschmack: Aprikosen, Birnen und Kirschen mit maritimen Seetang, alles mit einer perfekten Rauchnote eingewickelt

Abgang: Lang, süß - fruchtig mit tollem Rauch

Kommentar: Da haben die Gebrüder Hart ein ganz feines Händchen gehabt und meinen Geschmack voll getroffen.

Kommentar: Mal wieder eine tolle Vital Spark Ausgabe. Ein Rumfassfinish ist aus meiner Erfahrung oft eher eine Enttäuschung, daher war ich recht skeptisch, aber bei dieser Abfüllung ist das klasse gelungen!
