This special bottling was bottled exclusively for Whisky.de by the popular Loch Lomond distillery after 14 years of maturation without chill-filtering or colouring. Loch Lomond matured the whisky distilled in 2010 in carefully selected Amarone red wine casks. The new elegant club bottle is supplied in a
delivered in a slim tube. The whisky is the perfect example of the typical Loch Lomond distillery character combined with the additional fruity facets of the Amarone cask.

Aroma: Mild und frisch: Vanille, Trauben, Butterkekse, zartes helles Karamell, frisch zugeschnittener Blumenstrauß.

Geschmack: Würzig, üppig und delikat: Weiße Schokolade mit herber Grapefruit.

Abgang: Mittel. Eindeutig trocken werdend mit Weintaninnen, Pfeffer oder getrocknetem Ingwer. Ich meine auch eine leicht Phenoligkeit am Ende zu spüren!

Kommentar: Ein typischer Loch Lomond! Ist allerdings die erste Clubflasche die mich nicht zu frieden stellt. Die Anderen der letzten Jahre waren alle besser! Tja, liebes Whisky.de-Team, den weißen Wal findet man nicht immer großen Ozean!
