The Writers' Tears Ice Wine Cask Finish is an Irish blended whiskey and was produced in collaboration with the Inniskillin Winery. The Canadian winery is a leading producer of ice wine. The collaboration with Writers Tears has resulted in a limited edition that contains triple-distilled Single Pot Still and Single Malt whiskeys and has also been finished for 12 months in ice wine casks.

    Aroma: Frucht! Pfirsich, sehr frisch. Die 45% sind erst nicht zu merken. Etwas blumig, aber auch Alkoholnote

    Geschmack: Etwas Eiche. Erst starker Antritt, der Wein ist vordergründig. Dann aber Cremig, mild, speicheltreibend
    Abgang: Etwas bittere Eiche, Fruchtkompott, sehr mild. Die Süße wirkt nach

    Mal was anderes. Interessant, aber bei Eiswein erwartet der ein oder andere vielleicht etwas mehr Süße.
