Black Velvet Reserve 10 Ans

The Canadian Black Velvet is one of the best-known whiskies in the whole of North America. The distillery is located on the eastern edge of the Rocky Mountains in the middle of vast fields where rye, barley and corn grow. These high-quality grains form the basis for the pleasantly soft and slightly sweet character of the whisky. After distillation, the whisky is married as a fresh newmake, which gives it its particularly velvety texture. It is then matured for up to ten years in select oak barrels that were previously used for Bourbon. It is then blended with fresh base whisky and returned to barrels for at least another three years. The result is a smooth, well-balanced blend with an unmistakable character that has delighted whisky lovers since its introduction in 1951.
