The 15th edition of the Kilchoman 100% Islay whisky was produced using the 2014 and 2015 vintages. The Single Malt is produced 100% on Islay and matured for at least nine years in 54 ex-Bourbon casks. This eclectic combination gives the Islay whisky vanilla, butterscotch and rich fruit flavours with a slightly smoky undertone and some chocolate. Kilchoman is an independent family business that has been in existence since 1974 and produces its Single Malts in-house from field to bottle (from grain to bottle).

After more than 125 years, the Kilchoman farm distillery is the first new distillery to be built on the island of Islay. Kommentar: Erstaunlich wenig Rauch in der Nase und im Geschmack verglichen zu anderen Kilchoman. Hat fruchtige Noten und im Abgang zunehmend das Fass.
