Comment: The nose is rich and sweet, a good bit of peat smoke but not overpowering, a bit of citrus comes in after a minute and some herbs after a few more. There is some youthfulness poking through what appears to be excellent spirit and good casks. With water the sweetness recedes and the herbs come out along with more citrus.
On the palate there's an initial sweetness followed but a rich wave of peat smoke with some lovely umami notes. With water it's a tad sweeter and more citrus-y.
Finish: Continued peat smoke, umami, dry oak, a slight herbal note and some young-spirit notes.

Overall a really nice whisky, I would score it higher but it's not super complex and a bit young.

Aroma: süsser Rauch, leichte Fruchtnoten, Vanille?

Geschmack: kräftig rauchig, Vanille ist jetzt stärker da, leicht salzig

Abgang: bleibt lange rauchig würzig süss

Kommentar: solider Raucher, gefällt mir gut, auch was für etwas fortgeschrittene Einsteiger
