This Auchentoshan was released by the independent bottler Signatory Vintage. Andrew Symington founded his company at the end of the 1980s and has always maintained good contact with the distilleries. Today, he can call a warehouse of over 10,000 casks his own.
This bottling belongs to Signatory's Un-Chillfiltered series, in which the whiskies are not chill-filtered. To prevent them from becoming cloudy, they were bottled at 46% vol. This gives the Single Malts a particularly intense Taste. All bottles bear precise information about the distillation and bottling dates as well as the casks.
Limited to 847 bottles!

Geschmack: Sherry-Süße, würzig und dann schokoladiger werdend
Abgang: mittellanger sherry-lastiger Abgang, wenig Eichen-Bitterkeit
Kommentar: für meinen Geschmack etwas übertrieben mit der Nachreifung, da der Sherry-Fasseinfluss alles andere massiv überlagert.
