This Bunnahabhain belongs to the Cask Strength Collection by Signatory, in which the whiskies were bottled directly at cask strength. They are especially recommended for advanced connoisseurs. The malt matured for ten long years in a single first-fill sherry butt.

Bunnahabhain means 'river mouth' translated from Gaelic. The distillery is the northernmost on the island of Islay and is located about three kilometres from Port Askaig. It was built by the Greenless Brothers in 1881.

Schlappe 63,8%vol. fordern zur Verdünnung auf. Sollte man in diesem Fall tun, die Gewürznoten treten dann noch etwas mehr in den Vordergrund.
