Beschrijving van het product

The new Powers John's Lane is named after the street where the old Powers distillery in Dublin was located. Traditionally, Irish whiskeys are bottled in a combination of Pot Still and Column Still whiskeys. But this whiskey is made differently. For John's Lane, the Pot Still component of the normal Powers is bottled neat. No Grain Whiskey is added.

Leichter aber doch intensiver sommerwhisky in Richtung Honig Vanille Schoko.aber auch deutlich Pfeffer.Alkohol sehr dezent.Langer Abgang.

Kommentar: Schmeckt einem schottischem Single Malt sehr ähnlich! Wahrscheinlich ist er deswegen so gut. Empfehlenswert aber leider rund 10 EUR zu teuer.

Aroma: Wenig Früchte, leichte Karamell, Tabak u. Ledernote

Geschmack: Süß und scharf mit Karamell, Vanille und dunkler Schokolade

Abgang: mittellang, Karamell schmeckt nach

Kommentar: Ich hatte mir nach dem eingestellten Tasting weit mehr versprochen. Wird nicht nachgekauft.
