Tanduay Double Rum is created by blending a 16-year-old rum with a 5-year-old rum. Both components then mature together for two years in ex-bourbon barrels in the topical climate of the Philippines to develop their flavours. The result has an impressive flavour profile with notes of caramelised pineapple, roasted nuts and a hint of vanilla. Tanduay Distillers, Inc. is the oldest subsidiary of the Lucio Tan Group and is one of the largest brands in the Philippine rum sector with a market share of 99%. The company therefore knows how to produce and market high-quality rum.
