The Singleton of Dufftown Malt Master's Selection was matured in refill, Bourbon and sherry casks. When selecting the casks, care was taken to obtain a particularly soft and sweet Single Malt.

Aroma: Bitterkeit und ziemlich herb in der Nase, Birnenschale, Nelken.
Geschmack: Zuckrige Süße zu Beginn, eine ordentliche Eichenfracht kommt direkt hinter der Süße durch. Herbes Malz und leicht pfeffrig.
Abgang: Bitterkeit bleibt im Abgang und dezent eine herbe Note.
Kommentar: Wer Blends mag findet diesen Kollegen hier sicherlich spannend. Mir persönlich gefällt der 12yo von Singleton viel besser.
Geschmack: Zuckrige Süße zu Beginn, eine ordentliche Eichenfracht kommt direkt hinter der Süße durch. Herbes Malz und leicht pfeffrig.
Abgang: Bitterkeit bleibt im Abgang und dezent eine herbe Note.
