The second batch of the 12-year-old Edradour Oloroso Sherry Butts matured exclusively in first and second fill Oloroso casks from Andalusia. The cask-strength Single Malt is bottled without chill-filtration or colouring, allowing its dark-fruity and nutty aroma to unfold magnificently.

Aroma: Sherry dunkle Schokolade und ein mix an Beeren.

Geschmack: Oak Berries Sherry Strawberry Chocolate

Abgang: lang anhaltend mit Eiche und dunklen Früchten und dunkle schokolade.

Kommentar: eine richtige leckere sherry bombe. Den besten 12 jährigen Whisky den ich bis jetzt hatte. Sehr intensiv und die Farbe ist vielversprechend.
Ich liebe solche whisky.
Ist ein Whisky den man auch unbedingt haben muss wenn man auf sherry steht.

Kommentar: Eine Sherrybombe, wie sie im Buche steht. Extrem starker Antritt erzeugt, obwohl herunterreduziert, Speichelfluss ohne Ende. Der dunkelste ungefärbte 12-jährige den ich je gesehen habe. Ein absoluter Spitzenwhisky!!!

Geschmack: Cremig. Wie in der Nase Caramel Dark Chocolate Sherry Date Fig Dried Fruit Raisin

Abgang: Lange. Zartbitterschokolade. Karamell. Leichte Eichenwürze.

Kommentar: Eine Sherrybombe. Am besten mit etwas Wasser auf knapp über 50 % verdünnen. Macht ein längeres Finish und die Aromen kommen noch etwas besser raus.
