De Distilleerderij: Glenfarclas

Only a few distilleries in Scotland are still private owned. The Speyside distillery Glenfarclas is one of them. Maybe it’s the best known among them and maybe it’s one of the most successful family owned distilleries in Scotland ever. But for sure the Grants, owners of Glenfarclas, are very proud of the private status as their slogan “The Spirit of Independence” shows. Six generations of Grants have shaped Glenfarclas, from 1865 until today. This guaranteed a constancy of quality and foresight that a durable product as Whisky needs. Aroma: Sherry, Eiche und ohne Wasser- Alkohol, mit ein paar Tropfen Wasser verschwindet der Alkohol und dann kommen schwere dunkle Früchte und eine schöne Süße

.....

Geschmack: Sherry, dunkle Früchte, würzige Süße belegt den Mund, enormer Speichelfluss, toll!

Abgang: Sherry, Süße und Würze- Eiche, sehr lang.....

Kommentar: Ein toller komplexer Whisky der noch öfter verkostet werden muss, bin noch beim ersten Dram und finde immer neues, so macht das Spaß!
