Following the success of the Drumshanbo Gins, the Drumshanbo Single Pot Still Whiskey from The Shed distillery is now available. Irish barley and Irish Barrer oats are triple distilled on Single Pot Still after fermentation and carefully matured in ex-Kentucky bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry casks.

    Sehr angenehmer, intensiver Geruch. Geschmacklich viel Süße, Marzipan und ein bisschen Kirsche. Ex-Bourbon Noten überwiegen aber deutlich, eher subtiler Sherry Einfluss.

    Aroma: Anklänge von gerösteten Nüssen, Vanille und Karamell, begleitet von süßen Trockenfrüchten.

    Geschmack: Winterliche Gewürze, rote Johannisbeeren und Kokosnuss gtreffen auf dunkle Schokolade, Mandeln und Eiche. Es folgt ein cremiges, körperreiches Mundgefühl.

    Abgang: Weinnoten mit einem Hauch trockener Würze klingen dezent nach.
