The Lind & Lime Gin is produced at the Port Leith Distillery in Edinburgh, Scotland. The goal of the Scottish gin makers was a balanced classic London Dry Gin with juniper, lime and pink pepper. The brand takes its name from Dr. James Lind, who, as a ship's doctor in the Royal Navy in the 18th century, discovered a treatment for scurvy using citrus fruits.
Lind & Lime is produced as sustainably as possible with 100% green electricity, organically grown ingredients and plastic-free packaging.

The Distillery: Port of Leith
Scotland's first vertically arranged distillery is built in Edinburgh's Port of Leith. Until its planned completion in late summer 2022, the Tower Street Stillhouse, also in Leith, will be the home and production centre for the distillery's Lind & Lime Gin. And the development of its own Scotch Whisky is also already in full swing.

Kommentar: Extreme Noten von rotem Pfeffer (Weihnachtsbeere). Etwas Limettenzeste. Rosmarin ist auch zu erriechen. Alkoholische Noten sind sehr gering ausgeprägt und harmonisch, auch der typische Wacholdergeschmack geht nicht verloren. Und wirklich recht süß.
Ich persönlich bevorzuge andere Gin‘s als Basis für meinen GT und füge einfach die oben genannten Zutaten frisch hinzu.
Wer seinen Gin pur trinken möchte, der bekommt hier etwas Besonderes!
