Product description
This Single Malt from the Strathearn distillery in the Highlands is one of the last whiskies from Scotland to be made from the creamy, malty Maris Otter barley. The Single Malt is matured three times in hand-selected casks. Ex-Bourbon, virgin oak and ex-sherry casks were used for the elaborate maturation process. The Strathearn distillery near Methven in Perthshire is one of the smallest distilleries in Scotland. It not only produces Single Malt Whisky, but also a range of spirits, including handcrafted single casks, using traditional methods and ideas. The distillery has been part of the independent bottler Douglas Laing since 2019.

Strathearn Distillery, near to Methven in Perthshire, is probably Scotland’s smallest distillery. They not only produce Single Malt Whisky but also a range of spirits including hand-crafted, artisan single cask by using traditional methods and ideas. In December 2019 the independent bottler Douglas Laing bought Strathearn Distillery. read more
