Aroma Spices and the sweetness of dried fruit. All framed by white chocolate, oranges and oily leather.
Taste Full of spices, fruit cake and candied lemon. Notes of vanilla, honey and caramel in the finish.
Finish Peppery at first. Then sweet and soft.

Unlike the younger standard bottlings, the 18-year-old AnCnoc also matured in sherry casks. The Highland single malt Scotch whisky is neither chill-filtered nor coloured and comes in a slim tube.

Aroma: getrocknete Citrusfrucht (Orange, Zitrone) / leichter Hauch von Leder / exotische Fruchtnote (Physalis, Maracuja?)

Geschmack: nussig an der Zungenflanke (Bittermandel?) / Bergamotte / kandierte Orangenschale

Abgang: Sherryfass / holziger Abgang, lange herbes Gefühl im Mund / ga(aaa)z leichter Rauch

Kommentar: Toller runder Whisky, sehr empfehlenswert. Preislich vertretbar, aber kein Schnäppchen.
