Variety Single malt whisky
Aroma Rich and intense with caramelised notes of apples and pears, plus a mixture of sultanas, orange peel, apricots and a hint of aged leather.
Taste Deep and complex with hints of chocolate fudge and Manuka honey. Distinct facets of dried fruit and nuts towards the end.
Finish Warm and round with a sweetish cinnamon flavour.

The traditional Tomatin distillery, founded in 1897 in the Scottish Highlands, is known for its smooth and fruity whiskies. This 12-year-old Tomatin Single Malt matured for its entire 12 years in sherry casks. This makes the balanced and fruity whisky a special release from the Highland distillery, which is otherwise known above all for its varied and excellent cask finishes.

Tomatin has been a rising star among the Scottish distilleries since the beginning of the millennium. The Highland distillery was the biggest Scottish distillery in the 1970, but the quality of the Whisky wasn’t high regarded. Ups and downs followed and after been new positioned from 2000 onwards Tomatin grew to be one of the most reputable Scottish Whisky brands worldwide. read more
