Product description

The Lúnasa Single Malt was triple distilled, matured in bourbon casks and finished in bourbon barrels at the Widow Jane distillery in Brooklyn, New York. The Lúnasa festival has marked the autumn and harvest period of the Celtic solar calendar for around 2,000 years and is celebrated in honour of the earth mother Tailtiu, who watched over the fertile landscapes of Ireland. The limited edition is bottled without chill filtering and is non-coloured at 50.5% vol. The Irish Dingle Distillery was founded in 2012 by the three beer brewers Oliver Hughes, Liam LaHart and Peter Mosley. Inspired by the Celtic Wheel of the Year, Dingle releases a limited edition whisky in the 'Wheel of the Year' series for each of the eight sections of the solar calendar.

Aroma: Reife Beeren mit warmem, salzigen Karamell, Zitronensorbet und cremigem Buttertoffee.

Geschmack: Gerstenzucker mit einem Hauch von Würze, sowie Zartbitterschokolade und Himbeeren.

Abgang: Lang anhaltend mit würzigem Ingwer, dunklen Früchten und Noten von Karamell.
