Eine schöne Farbe hat er,
ein rötliches Gelb.

Recht intensive Aromen.
Nasses, helles Holz,
Honigwaben,
lieblich und fein.

Im Mund recht kräftig,
jetzt kommt die Eiche voll durch,
sehr aromatisch,
nicht bitter oder herb.

Für mich ein schöner Vertreter reinrassiger Holzreifung.

Abgang: Oak Herb Sweet Malt Peat Smoke

Kommentar: In der Nase Nüsse und Frucht, Getreide und Gewürze. Setzt sich fort im Mund mit Caramel und Honig, dann wieder Gewürze mit Zimt und Nüssen.
Der Abgang schön weich, die Eiche sehr dezent von der Bitterkeit her, aber wieder Gewürze und süße Malzigkeit. In der Nase wie auch im Abgang ganz dezenter Rauch.
Ein guter 21 jähriger zum genießen.
