This Balvenie Single Barrel bottling emphasises the influence of the cask on the whisky's Taste. Oak casks are natural products and each one is different. This means that every whisky has a different Taste. For this bottling, Balvenies Malt Master selected only casks with a sweet vanilla and oak flavour. All bottles are labelled with the cask number and the bottle number.

    Kommentar: Riecht nach einer Mischung aus süßer überreifer Banane mit etwas Birne und zitrischen Noten. Im Geschmack dann weniger süß und relativ trocken mit Gewürzen und der Eiche. Die überreife Banane und die Süße rücken in den Hintergrund. Im Abgang weiterhin viel Eiche und Gewürze.

    Aroma: Honey Berries Fruit die Beeren gehen in eine fruchtige Kaugummi Note, die besser riecht als es sich anhört.

    Kommentar: Ein Drama mit Charakter. Wo manche Standart Balvinies nur versuchen niemanden zu verprellen sucht hier eine Flasche nicht jedem aber jemanden wirklich zu gefallen. Ein wenig teuer für die Specs, aber interessant.
