Product description
This Glenmorangie Small Batch matured first in bourbon casks and then in cognac casks. The French oak casks can drown out the fine, fruity Single Malt aromas. Therefore, Master Distiller Dr. Bill Lumsden deliberately chose casks that had already been filled many times. This minimises the influence of the oak.
This bottle has no outer packaging from the manufacturer.

The stretch of land in the Northern Highland on which Glenmorangie stands has been the site for alcohol production (mostly illicit) since the Middle Ages, setting a formidable legacy. Glenmorangie was founded in 1843, although operation didn’t start until 1849.

Kommentar: Von allen Glenmorangies hat mich dieser bisher am Wenigsten überzeugt. Der Geschmack ist nicht so rund und weich wie bei den anderen, man schmeckt hier eher den Alkohol. Der Cadboll und der Quinta Ruban gefallen mir deutlich besser.
