"Notions of tropical fruit turned to blackcurrant bushes and geraniums as we walked beneath juniper and red apple trees. Sweet aromas of caramel fused with dried apple chunks before the palate unveiled richer notes of liquorice and prune juice. A slice of ginger cake arrived with crystalised pineapple and just the faint whiff of light smoke before we added water. Then a curious blend of apricots and papaya with lime juice merged with dandelion and burdock alongside orange cordial. Toasted rye bread and sunflower seeds combined with ginger and nutmeg before turning to banana bread and malted barley. We then arrived back at bramble bushes before a dusting of coal dust and cassia bark framed the finish."
