Dieser Knockando gehört zu einer Serie von Whiskys, die mit 43% vol in Trinkstärke abgefüllt wurden und nicht gefärbt sind. Sie zeichnen sich durch einen besonders milden Geschmack aus und eignen sich auch für Einsteiger. Diese Abfüllung reifte 12 Jahre in Eichenfässern.

Die Brennerei: Knockando
John Thompson gründete Knockando 1898. Zwei Jahre später wurde die Produktion zunächst wieder eingestellt und erst nach einem Verkauf der Brennerei im Jahre 1904 wieder aufgenommen. 1985 konnte die milliardste Flasche abgefüllt werden.
