Die Lindores Abbey Brennerei in den schottischen Lowlands befindet sich in einer ehemaligen Abtei. Seit 2017 werden dort wieder Spirituosen gebrannt. Dieser Exclusive Cask reifte in einem Ruby Port Wein Barrique. Alle nennenswerten Details zu dieser Einzelfassabfüllung in Fassstärke finden sich auf dem Etikett der Flasche wieder.

Die Lowland Brennerei Lindores Abbey, die 'Kirche am Wasser', liegt in der Nähe von Newburgh in Fife mit Blick auf die Mündung des Flusses Tay.
Die Lage der ehemaligen Abtei ist wohl aufgrund der reichlichen Holz- und Steinbestände ausgesucht worden, sowie für die Nähe zum Pow of Lindores, dessen Wasser in den Tay fließt.

Abgang: Sehr stark wärmend und immer noch
Kommentar: Die Farbe ist typisch Ruby Port Finish. 60,4% ABV sind heftig - gehen bei mir nur verdünnt.
